Scraper Rope

The purpose of a scraper rope in mining is to pull a scraper or scoop to move broken rock and ore from the mining face to an ore pass or tipping point.
These ropes are part of a scraper winch system that is crucial for clearing material in underground operations, especially in narrow-vein mining methods.

Srcaper rope is available in 16mm and in a 6×7 (6/1)/F Construction.

◦Clearing the mine face: After drilling and blasting, the scraper rope pulls a scoop across the mining face to gather broken rock and other material.
◦Transporting material: The rope is used to haul the scraped material to a location where it can be further processed or dropped into an ore pass for removal.
